The Brant Phantoms has a solid weekend of play...

The Phantoms came out on the winning end of a 5 game weekend going 4-0-1.

The Atom team started the weekend with a convincing 10-1 win over the Tri-City Titans (Cambridge) at the Civic Centre, and followed it up with another 12-5 win at the Mall on Sunday.

The Bantams, playing in Carlisle on Saturday evening, turned in a solid performance with a solid 4-1 win against the Chill in Carlisle.

In Tier 1 action Satuday night at Gretzky, our Novice Phantoms took the challenge from the Burlington Jr Cougars and sent them home with a 7-4 defeat in a really exciting game. It was a 1 goal game for most of the night until the kids put in a few late goals to seal the win.

Also in Tier 1, the Peewee Phantoms fought back from deficits 3 times to finally pull even and tie the Burlington Jr Cougars T1 05 team with a 3-3 score.

The Phantom record for the season goes to 18-13-5 with another action packed weekend ahead.

The Novice crew is really busy with the Halton Ravens coming to Gretzky on Saturday with the puck drop at 730pm. On Sunday the Novice team will host the Rochester AAA Grizzlies with a pair of games....8am at Lions Park and noon at the Civic Centre. Get out and support the boys. The Peewee team travel to Carlilsle to play the Chill at 8pm adnd the Bantams go to the Mall to play the TriCity Titans Gold team. On Sunday the Atoms will be in Alymer to play the London Cobras T1 07 team.
